The estranged husband of actor Jim Carrey‘s late girlfriend, who is suing the comedian over her death, has released text messages in which Carrey purportedly makes tasteless comments about his penis while discussing recently deceased family members at Christmastime.

“Jim Carrey’s public persona is a fraud,” the woman’s husband, Mark Burton, said in a statement Thursday.

“In reality he is a guy who texts about his c–k in the same breath as deceased loved ones at Christmas,” Burton says.

The text exchange shows a picture of a candle burning on a hearth, with Carrey commenting on White’s tradition of burning candles in memory of late relatives during the holidays.

Immediately after that sentimental exchange, Carrey asks his girlfriend, “Have you thought about my c–k today?”

Then Carrey references a concern that his girlfriend might be pregnant.

“You haven’t let your pill laps [sic] at all since we were apart have you sweety?” he asks in a text message. “Sorry I just have a concern because it was a little carefree tonight. You can get a morning after pill if there’s any question,” he says. Burton is suing Carrey, accusing the “Dumb & Dumber” star of supplying his depression-prone wife, Cathriona White, with a mixture of pills that resulted in a fatal overdose in September 2015.

Burton says Carrey bought the drugs under a fake name and then tried to cover up his role in her suicide.

Carrey has forcefully denied the claims and chalked Burton’s case up to “shameful greed.”

Burton, through his attorney Michael Avenatti, released a copy of a December 2012 text message exchange between Carrey and White to The Post. Avenatti called the texts “recently uncovered evidence.”

Burton plans to file the text messages in the California wrongful death suit in the coming days.

Avenatti said, “We have located nearly every text message, picture and email between them over the last four years by conducting a forensic examination of electronic media. The evidence will show that Carrey and his handlers are not shooting straight with the media or the public.”

Carrey’s rep did not immediately return a message for comment.
